CARLISLE, Pa. - Following the first round of the Dickinson College Invitational, the Franklin & Marshall Women's Golf team sits in second place with a score of 477 and a par of +89.
Reilly Melvin was the Diplomats' top-ranked golfer through day one, posting a score of 88 and a par of +16, good for fifth place in the individual standings. Just under her is
Janire Vela, who is tied for sixth with a score of 89.
Both
Chloe Schnur and
Lauren Simpson shot an even 100, putting them tied for 11th place. F&M was rounded out by
Claire Hill's score of 106.
The Diplomats will return to the Carlisle Barracks Golf Club tomorrow for the second round, looking to overtake Marymount for the top position.Â
