Men's Golf Tied for Fourth After Opening Round of Hershey Cup

HERSHEY, Pa. – The Franklin & Marshall men's golf team carded a team score of 305 to end the opening round of the Hershey Cup, hosted by the University of Rochester, tied for fourth place with Stevenson. Wittenburg leads the field of 16 teams with a score of 301. The Diplomats also trail Centennial Conference (CC) foe McDaniel and New York University as both teams are tied for second place with a score of 302.

Roy Anderson leads the Diplomats as he ended the day two-over par to place tied for third in the field of 87 competitors. Shane Lawler shot four-over par to tie for 10th, while Dominic Sculti registered a score of five-over par to place tied for 18th. Max Silverman ended his day 10-over par to tie for 49th place. David McNamara finished up the first round 12-over par to tie for 53rd in the individual standings.

Franklin & Marshall looks to make a push in the final round as it returns to the Hershey Country Club on Monday, starting at 8:00 a.m.
