Men's Golf Places Third at the Hershey Cup

HERSHEY, Pa. – The Franklin & Marshall men's golf recorded a team score of 300 in the closing round of the Hershey Cup to end the tournament with a final tally of 602 – placing third in the field of 16 teams. Wittenberg came away victorious in the two-day event at the Hershey Country Club as the Tigers registered a score of 599.

Shane Lawler led the Diplomats with a 71 in round two to place tied for second in the field of 87 competitors. Roy Anderson also posted a top-10 placement as he shot a 74 in the second round to finish in a tie for fourth. Dominic Sculti carded a 79 on day two to place tied for 33rd, while Max Silverman registered a 76 to finish in a tie for 41st. David McNamara recorded an 81 in the final round to place tied for 53rd in the tournament.

Franklin & Marshall now readies to compete in the Garden State Collegiate Classic, a two-round event, starting on Saturday at 8:00 a.m. After the two-day tournament, F&M returns to Bent Creek Country Club on Monday to host the F&M Spring Invitational, starting at noon.
