BOULDER CITY, Nev. – For the third-consecutive year, the Franklin & Marshall men's golf team has made the cut at the NCAA Championships. The Diplomats shot 290 (two-over par) in the second round to bring its overall score to 584 (eight-over par) – placing themselves in a tie for 13th. Redlands currently leads the team standings with a score of 563.
Roy Anderson ended the second round with a score of 70 (two-under par) as he tallied three birdies and 14 pars to hold a tie for 10th. Anderson's round-two score is tied for the fourth-lowest round score from a Diplomat this year, which he has recorded five times this season. With three birdies and 13 pars,
Max Silverman finished Wednesday's round with a 71 (one-under par) to move into a tie for 44th.
Shane Lawler carded a 74 (two-over par) to pull into a tie for 65th after 36 holes.
Jack Cooley shot a 75 (three-over par) to end the round in a tie for 87th, while
Dominic Sculti tallied an 83 (11-over par) to conclude the day tied for 199th.
With the field now cut to 18 teams, Franklin & Marshall looks to continue climbing the leaderboards when it starts the third round of the NCAA Championships on Thursday.
