ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Franklin & Marshall men's golf team finished the first two rounds of the Flower City Preview, hosted by St. John Fisher on Sunday morning. The Diplomats recorded a team score of 296 (eight-over par) in round one and 292 (four-over par) in round two to place 14th in the field of 18 teams.
Leading the Diplomats,
Shane Lawler shot a 74 in the opening round and a 68 in round two to place 22nd in the field of 90 individual competitors.
Roy Anderson carded a 75 in the opening round and a 72 in the second round to finish Sunday in a tie for 50th.
Oliver Clark ended each round with a 74 to end the day in a tie for 54th.
Max Silverman carded a 74 in round one and a 78 in round two to tie for 72nd.
Jack Cooley shot a 74 in the first round and a 79 in the second round to tie for 76th.
Franklin & Marshall looks to make a final push when it wraps up competition at the Flower City Preview on Monday. Also on Monday, the Diplomats get set to play in the Dickinson Fall Invitational.
