Men's Tennis Places Four on All-Centennial Conference Team

LANCASTER, Pa. – The Franklin & Marshall men's tennis team had four players selected to the All-Centennial Conference (CC) team, as announced by the conference office Friday morning.

Luke Brodsky earned first team All-CC honors in singles for the second-consecutive season, playing in the No. 1 match for the Diplomats this spring. Brodsky collected an 8-13 record with four wins coming against Centennial Conference opponents. In doubles, the pairing of Brodsky and Soren Rudin-Aulenbach were selected second team All-CC, ending the year with an impressive 13-5 overall record and 5-1 CC record. The tandem ended the season going 6-4 in its final 10 matches, playing in the No. 2 doubles match.

Zac Ashtiani was tabbed second team All-Centennial for singles after concluding the year with seven wins, competing in the No. 2 match. Gonzalo Gentou was selected to the CC All-Sportsmanship team for the second time in his career, ending the spring with a 7-2 overall record and a perfect 4-0 record against CC opponents in singles. The duo of Ashtiani and Gentou was recognized as second team all-conference for doubles as they notched a 10-13 record together this season.

Franklin & Marshall ended its season with an overall record of 9-11 and a CC record of 5-2, climbing the national rankings to as high as No. 36 in the nation.
