LANCASTER, Pa. – For the first time in his career,
Davis Rorick of the Franklin & Marshall men's soccer team has been recognized as the Centennial Conference (CC) Defensive Player of the Week, as announced by the conference office Wednesday morning. Rorick becomes the first Diplomat to win the weekly award since teammate
Nolan Booth in early-September of last season.
Playing in the final 65 minutes of Saturday's match at Swarthmore, Rorick made seven saves and didn't allow a goal to give F&M its first Centennial win of the season. Saturday's contest was Rorick's fourth career appearance with the sophomore holding a 0.889 save percentage and 0.69 goals-against average. Saturday's game was also the third clean sheet Rorick's been a part of in his collegiate career.
Rorick and the Diplomats get set to host Washington College on Tuesday, starting at 7:00 p.m.
