LANCASTER, Pa. – There was plenty of tennis on the final day of the fall season for the Franklin & Marshall men's team. With the squad split between a home dual and road tournament at Bloomsburg, the Diplomats gained valuable playing time ahead of the spring season.

In the home dual against Penn State Berks, the Diplomats blanked the Lions in a 5-0 final. The Diplomats needed just four players to down the Lions. Daniil Lunev and Soren Rudin-Aulenbach started the match with a win at No. 1 doubles and later claimed wins at the respective No. 1 and No. 2 positions in the singles lineup. Aaron Kwock and Mark Ball followed suit at No. 2 doubles to clinch that point. Kwock won a 6-0, 6-0 match at No. 3 singles, while Ball dropped just one game in each set at No. 4 singles. With the rest of the team at Bloomsburg, No. 3 doubles and Nos. 5 and 6 singles went uncontested.

The Tournament at Bloomsburg saw a pair of Diplomats doubles teams go undefeated as Theo Oeltermann/James Parnwell and Tucker Chesman/Hugh Outwater both went 2-0 in their matches together. Samuel Donnelly, Carlos Lana, and Parnwell also went 2-0 in singles play. Ian Alonso posted a 2-1 mark in singles, while Marco Romano, Stan Kunash and Outwater each won their only singles matches played.

Today's action concludes the fall season. Men's tennis returns to action during the spring semester when the attention shifts to dual matches. Up first will be a home match versus Salisbury on Sunday, February 14 at 11 a.m.
