FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – The Franklin & Marshall men's tennis team wrapped up the ITA Southeast Regional Championship over the weekend. Although the weather limited the action on Mary Washington's campus, the Diplomats did find success in between the rain drops of Virginia.

While all of Franklin & Marshall's scheduled Sunday matches were unable to be started, the highlight of Saturday was the doubles team of Nate Arnold and Samuel Donnelly advancing to the championship match of the B1 doubles draw. That duo made it three consecutive victories at the regional championship with an 8-3 win against Swarthmore. Opposite another Centennial Conference opponent in the championship match, the Diplomats dropped a tiebreak match to Haverford by an 8-7 (2) score.

Men's tennis will wrap up its fall competition this coming weekend with a split squad weekend as the team takes part in the Bloomsburg Invitational and hosts a dual match with Penn State Berks on Saturday, October 10.
