Sarah Wang maintained her strong form in the second round of the McDaniel Spring Invitational from The Bridges Golf Club, carding an 81 (+9) on Sunday with a combined score of 160 (+16) to claim tournament medalist honors by six strokes over second place

Starting the round on the tenth hole, Wang hit six pars on the back nine to post 39 (+3) strokes before totaling 42 (+6) on the back nine. After recording a 79 (+7) on Saturday, her 81 (+9) on Sunday gave her a combined score of 160 (+16) for the weekend to secure her fourth-consecutive medal dating back to the F&M Fall Invite in September.

Tarreto followed up a round of 83 in the opening round with an 82 (+10) on Sunday, finishing five strokes behind Wang at 165 (+21) to claim second place. Also starting on the tenth, she didn't score worse than a bogey across the round, going six over (42) through the back nine before closing out with a four-over front nine (40). It marks her best finish so far in her collegiate career.
Emily Pollard went six strokes better than her opening round, totaling 99 (+27) for a weekend score of 204 (+60), tying for 41st.
Riya Sood shared 41st with Pollard, totaling 107 (+35) on Sunday and 204 (+62) for the weekend.
Olivia Kim improved three strokes from yesterday, carding a 111 (+39) for the round and 225 (+4) for the tournament to claim 50th.Â
After posting a team score of 369 (+81) in Sunday's round, F&M maintained fourth place in the team standings with a combined score of 733 (+157) across the two rounds.
The Diplomats are back in action next Saturday, April 11, at 1:00 p.m. for a tri-match against Dickinson and McDaniel from the Mayapple Golf Club.
