CARLISLE, Pa. – Franklin & Marshall
picked up two singles wins and a doubles win as the Diplomats fell
to Dickinson 6-3 in Centennial Conference (CC) men's tennis action
Tuesday. F&M fell to 9-7, 5-2 CC, while the Red Devils improved
to 9-8, 3-4 CC.
Doug Silverstein nabbed a 7-5, 6-3 win for the Diplomats over
Hunter Holbrook in number two singles. In the number six spot,
Peter Bookman earned a 6-2, 6-2 victory over Matt Wood. Ross
Silverberg took Ross Anstaett into three sets in the number one
spot, but ultimately fell 4-6, 7-6, 10-2.
The duo of James Tunner and Silverstein earned F&M's sole
doubles win of the day with a 9-7 defeat of Andrew Kastner and
Wood.
The Diplomats travel to Muhlenberg for their final road match on
Friday, April 23.
