LANCASTER, Pa. – The
Franklin & Marshall men's tennis team continues its
undefeated conference streak as the squad edged Washington 5-4 in
Centennial Conference (CC) action on Saturday afternoon. The
Diplomats improved to 7-4, 3-0 CC, while the Shoremen fell to 8-2,
3-1 CC.
The Diplomats won three of the six singles matches
and two of three in doubles. Ross Silverberg defeated Kevin Papen
6-2, 6-4, while Cameron Relic earned an easy 6-2, 6-0 victory over
Kyle Lisco.
Eric Rouff won the final singles match of the day
over Andrew Laux by scores of 6-3, 6-4.
In doubles action, Silverberg and Peter Bookman
teamed up to earn an 8-2 victory over Timothy Parks and Laux. Doub
Silverstein and James Tunner defeated John Menzione and Aaron
Ellison 8-6.
F&M hosts Gettysburg on Tuesday, Apr. 6 for a 4
p.m. match.
