LANCASTER, Pa. – Franklin & Marshall won its fourth straight match with an 8-1 win over Gettysburg in Centennial Conference (CC) men's tennis action Wednesday afternoon. The Diplomats secured a spot in the CC playoffs with the win and have a chance for the third seed with a win over Dickinson on Saturday. F&M improved to 10-5, 6-2 CC while the Bullets fell to 10-5, 4-4 CC.
Silverberg won 6-2, 6-7, 1-0, at No. 1 singles while Weibye and MacArthur won their matches at the second and third spot. Silverstein beat Sebastin Rodriquez 6-2, 7-5, at No.4 and Eric Rouf was a 6-4, 6-0, victor in the fourth spot.
James Tunner wrapped things up with a 6-0, 6-3, win at the sixth singles spot.
F&M returns to action on Saturday when the Diplomat travel to Dickinson for 1:oo p.m. match.
