SWARTHMORE, Pa. – Swarthmore trailed Franklin & Marshall 3-0 before sweeping the final six matched to win 6-3 Saturday in a Centennial Conference meet. The Garnet improved to 5-1 CC, 9-6 overall while the Diplomats fell to 2-2, 6-5.
Ross Silverberg knocked off Max Kaye, 7-5, 6-3, in No. 1 singles before
William MacArthur and
Tommy Weibye won No. 2 and No. 3 singles for F&M. MacArthur handled Stephen Young 6-4, 6-2 before Weibye battled Zak Kelm for a 5-7, 6-1, 7-5 win.
Youngblood and Kelm beat MacArthur and Silverberg in No. 1 singles, Kaye and Bressman knocked off Silverstein and Weibye in No. 2 and Collard and Seth Udelson defeated
Paul Salierno and
Samuel Stone at No. 3.
F&M returns to the courts Sunday in a Centennial Conference meet hosting Washington at 10:30 a.m.
