ALLENTOWN, Pa. – Franklin & Marshall put together a dominant performance on Friday afternoon, dismantling Muhlenberg 8-1 in Centennial Conference men's tennis action. The Diplomats improved to 8-1, 1-0 CC in their first match of the conference schedule, while the Mules fell to 2-3, 0-1 CC.
By the Numbers
F&M took full control in doubles, allowing Muhlenberg only five games as a team, led by Zack Levin and Isaac Salas with an 8-1 decision at No. 3. Doug Kaplan and Jack Rothman notched an 8-2 win at No. 1, a result that Inigo Flores and Vasant Rajamanickam matched at No. 2.
The dominance continued in singles, as Kaplan, Rothman, Salas, and Flores all claimed their second wins of the day. Flores won 12 straight games, tallying a 6-0, 6-0 victory at No. 5 to lead the charge.
