GETTYSBURG, Pa. – No. 29 Franklin & Marshall got back to its winning ways on Friday afternoon, recording an 8-1 victory over Gettysburg in Centennial Conference men's tennis action. The Diplomats improved to 12-2, 5-1 CC with the win while the Bullets dropped to 6-8, 1-5 CC.
By the Numbers
F&M took control in doubles play, winning all three flights to take a 3-0 lead heading into singles action. Vasant Rajamanickam and Inigo Flores keyed the effort with a hard-fought 9-7 decision at No. 2.
The Diplomats continued to roll in singles competition, taking five of six matches en route to the 8-1 overall victory. Isaac Salas recorded a 6-0, 6-1 victory at No. 4 to pace F&M.
