LANCASTER, Pa. – Franklin & Marshall kept its Centennial Conference (CC) record perfect on Saturday afternoon, defeating Muhlenberg 9-0 on Senior Day to move to 4-4, 3-0 CC. The Mules fell to 0-2 with the loss.
The Diplomats celebrated seniors Inigo Flores and Evan Drapeau before play began.
By the Numbers
F&M was quick out of the gate, capturing all three doubles matches. Isaac Salas and Andrew Pace cruised to an 8-0 result at No. 3, while Zack Levin and Will Samuels eased to an 8-2 win at No. 2.
The Diplomats continued to roll in singles, holding the Mules without a set. Levin tallied a 6-1, 6-1 win at No. 2, Samuels earned a 6-2, 6-0 win at No. 4, and and Pace rolled 6-0, 6-1 at No. 5.
Drapeau celebrated Senior Day with a 7-5, 6-0 victory at No. 6, while Flores followed with his second victory of the day coming via a 6-1, 6-0 win at No. 3. Flores has now won seven consecutive straight singles matches to begin his senior campaign.
