ORLANDO, Fla. – Franklin & Marshall men's tennis garnered its first win of the year with a 6-3 victory over Ithaca College on Wednesday evening.
The Diplomats improved to 1-3 while the Bombers dropped to 2-3 on the year.
By the Numbers
F&M came out strong, sweeping doubles competition, including a tiebreaker victory from No. 1 doubles pair Jack Rothman and Sam Bellersen, to hold a decisive 3-0 lead going into singles play.
Will Samuels (No. 5) delivered the first win in singles play with a 6-4, 6-3 match, but it was Isaac Salas in the No. 2 spot who secured the match for F&M with a 7-5, 3-6, 1-0 (10-7) tiebreaker win.
