A Look at the Bracket

The Diplomats open the tournament by taking on Dickinson for the fourth time this season. F&M enters with a 3-0 record against the Red Devils in 2019-20 that includes a 6-3 triumph at last Saturday's Round Robin in Carlisle.

No. 17 Amherst headlines the bracket, a program the Diplomats haven't faced since 2016-17. F&M has found success against the bracket's opponents, obtaining a perfect 7-0 record during the regular season.

A Look at F&M

First-year Audrey Berling leads the tea with nine wins from the No. 1 spot on the ladder. Emily Knapp has accumulated nine wins as well between the No.'s 2-3 positions, while Emily Bartos has seven victories between No.'s 2-3.

Walker Cup History

F&M returns to the Walker Cup, an annual matchup of the nation's No. 17-24 teams, for the fourth consecutive year and the fifth time since the 2013-14 season. The Diplomats won the Walker Cup in 2011 after defeating Hamilton by a 5-4 tally in the finals. Last year, No. 20 F&M went 1-2 at the Championships that included a 6-3 opening-round win over No.21 Mount Holyoke.

The bracket is named after Dale Walker, who coached the Yale's women's team to National Titles in 1986 and 1992. For a complete history of the Walker Cup, click here.
