CHESTERTOWN, Md. – Franklin & Marshall's men's tennis team defeated Washington College by an 8-1 score on Saturday. The Diplomats (4-1, 4-1 CC) are now riding a four-match winning streak after their win over the Shoremen (2-5, 1-3 CC). F&M has dropped just two total matches during this recent run of success.
By the Numbers
The Diplomats had a significant advantage with only four Shoremen taking to the courts on Saturday. With a 3-0 lead before the match got underway, F&M officially locked up the win after doubles with a pair of hard-fought victories. In singles play, Adrian Charchalis secured a 10-point tiebreak victory at No. 2 singles, while Justin Pace (No. 3) and Adith Chandavarkar (No. 4) both won in straight sets.
