GETTYSBURG, Pa. -- Franklin & Marshall men's tennis dropped just a single match in an 8-1 victory over Gettysburg in Centennial Conference (CC) play on Wednesday afternoon. The Diplomats (6-5, 3-3 CC) swept through doubles, then clinched on the backs of the bottom half of the ladder, as four through six dropped a combined three games to the Bullets (7-7, 1-5 CC).

F&M rolled through doubles, as the #3 pairing of Pedro Norte and Anthony Casale had the easiest task, dispatching their opponents 8-0. Adrian Charchalis and Isaac Rockower likewise had an easy time in the #1 slot, winning 8-2. Justin Pace and Tristan Steffe combined for an 8-5 win at #2.

Issac Rockower made it 4-0 with a double bagel victory at #4 singles in just 1:15. Pedro Norte and Anthony Casale weren't far behind at #5 and #6 singles, with 6-1, 6-1 and 6-1, 6-0 wins, respectively.

Adrian Charchalis toughed out a three set victory at #1, fighting for a 7-5, 6-3, 10-6 win. Justin Pace also eeked out a win at #2, with all three sets decided by two games - eventually coming from behind for a 5-7, 6-4, 10-8 win.

F&M hits the road for a non-conference match this weekend at Washington and Lee, before finishing off its CC schedule at Ursinus and at Johns Hopkins in a pair of makeup contests next week.
