HAVERFORD, Pa. -- Franklin & Marshall men's tennis fell 8-1 to No. 28 Haverford in Centennial Conference (CC) action on Saturday afternoon. The Diplomats (4-5, 1-3 CC) forced the issue at multiple spots on the ladder, but Haverford (7-5, 2-1 CC) snagged three-set victories at a pair of singles spots and a tiebreaker victory at #2 doubles to secure the win.
The doubles pairing of Adrian Charchalis and Isaac Rockower pulled out the lone point for the Diplomats, picking up an 8-6 win at #1 doubles.
Charchalis and Anthony Casale pushed their opponents to the limit in three-set losses at #1 and #5 singles, while Isaac Rockower forced tiebreakers in both sets at #4 singles.
F&M now turns its attention to Dickinson on Tuesday afternoon beginning at 4:00 p.m.
