LANCASTER, Pa. – The Franklin & Marshall men's tennis team fell to Johns Hopkins, 7-2, in its Centennial Conference Opener Sunday morning. The Blue Jays showed why they were named the favorites in the CC Preseason Poll – defeating the Diplomats in two doubles matches and five singles matches.

The pairing of Daniel Feigelson and Pedro Norte earned a hard-fought win in the third doubles match as they battled to an 8-7 victory. The first-year pairing of Zac Ashtiani and Luke Brodsky narrowly fell in the second doubles match as they were edged 8-6.

Along with picking up F&M's lone win in the singles matches, Tommy Hicks earned his first collegiate win in the No. 6 position.

 Franklin & Marshall hits the road as it prepares to face TCNJ on Saturday at 2:30 p.m.
