CARLISLE, Pa. – The Franklin & Marshall men's tennis team earned an 8-1 victory over Dickinson in Centennial Conference (CC) action Wednesday evening.
The Diplomats swept through the singles matches, claiming all six. Isaac Rockower battled his opponent in the No. 2 position, controlling the third set, 10-5, to win the matchup. Zac Ashtiani (No. 1), Gonzalo Gentou (No. 3), Luke Brodsky (No. 4), Pedro Norte (No. 5), and Anthony Casale (No. 6) all won their respective matches in just two sets.
F&M also earned the victory in two of the three doubles matches. The pairing of Gentou and Norte won, 8-3, in the second doubles match and were followed by the pairing of Casale and Rockower winning, 8-2. Ashtiani and Brodsky fought hard in the first doubles match, but were held off to drop the match, 8-6.
Franklin & Marshall looks to add to the win column as they return home to Brooks Tennis Center to host Hampden-Sydney Saturday at noon.
