EWING, N.J. – The Franklin & Marshall men's tennis team lost to The College of New Jersey (TCNJ), 9-0, on the road Saturday afternoon.
The pairing of Gonzalo Gentou and Pedro Norte battled in the second doubles match, but fell 8-7 to their opponents. Cooper Knutson and Isaac Rockower also had a solid showing in the third doubles match of the day, but were outlasted 8-6 in the match.
Gentou faced a 1-0 deficit in his singles match in the No. 4 position. The first year won the second set 6-4, but fell in the third set 10-7 to fall in the match.
Franklin & Marshall looks to bounce back as it travels to Orlando, Florida for four matches across spring break. On March 13, the Diplomats play Wesleyan (Conn.) at 8:00 a.m. before taking on Macalester at 5:30 p.m.
