Box Score EWING, N.J. – The Franklin & Marshall men's tennis team (1-1) earned a hard-fought victory over No. 31 TCNJ (1-2), 4-3, on Saturday for F&M's first win of the 2025 spring season. TCNJ swept through the doubles matches, claiming wins in all three matches. However, the Diplomats battled back with four singles-match victories to down the Lions.
Samuel Donnelly outlasted his opponent in the No. 3 match, 7(7)-6(4), 6-3, for his third individual win of the season.
Soren Rudin-Aulenbach won the No. 5 match, 6-3, 6-2, while
Jack Gelman held onto win the No. 6 match, 6-4, 6-2 to improve to two wins each so far this season.
Zac Ashtiani claimed his first individual win of the spring as her overpowered his opponent in the No. 2 match, 7(7)-6(2), 3-6, 1(10)-0(5).
Franklin & Marshall now gets ready for its spring break trip to Orlando, Florida – facing Skidmore on Monday, March 10 at 8:00 a.m.
