Box Score ORLANDO, Fla. – The Franklin & Marshall women's tennis team (2-2) rolled past Connecticut College (0-4), 6-1, Tuesday afternoon for its first win of its Spring Break trip to Florida. The Diplomats won all three doubles matches and claimed five of the six singles matches to earn their second victory of the season.

Presley Daggett And Kakie Colclough downed their opponent, 6-2, in the No. 2 doubles match for their second win together this season. The pairing of Rebecca Bellick and Lorena Saavedra defeated their opponent, 6-4, in the top doubles match for their first win together this year. The rookie duo of Isabel Benitez and Sophia Carson earned a 6-4 victory in the No. 3 doubles match for their first win together this spring.

All five Diplomats competing in Tuesday's singles matches earned their first wins of the season. Saavedra won the No. 1 singles match, 6-3, 6-2, followed by a win from Amelia Squires in the No. 2 match, 6-4, 6-2. Colclough outlasted her opponent in three sets, 6-3, 2-6, 1(10)-0(6), to pick up the win in the No. 3 match. Erin Joo beat her opponent, 6-1, 6-3, in the No. 4 match and Carson defeated her opponent, 6-1, 6-4, in the No. 5 match to wrap up the Diplomats' victory.

Franklin & Marshall gets set for two matches on Wednesday, starting with Rhodes at noon. The Diplomats then end the day playing No. 27 Grinnell at 6:00 p.m.
