Box Score ORLANDO, Fla. – The No. 38 Franklin & Marshall men's tennis team (3-3) was defeated by Rhodes (6-2), 5-2, in Wednesday afternoon's match at the USTA National Center.
The Lynx jumped out to an early advantage, winning two of the three doubles matches. The duo of
Luke Brodsky and
Soren Rudin-Aulenbach continued their impressive stretch in the No. 2 match, winning, 6-2, for their fourth victory together this year.
Rhodes later secured wins in the top four singles matches to complete the victory over the Diplomats. Rudin-Aulenbach cruised in the No. 5 singles match with a 6-1, 6-1 win for his fifth individual victory this spring.
Gonzalo Gentou capped the Diplomats' victories as he held off his opponent in the No. 6 match, 7-5, 7(7)-6(5), for his first singles' win of the season.
No. 38 Franklin & Marshall concludes its Spring Break trip to Florida on Thursday when it takes on Connecticut College at 8:00 a.m.
