LANCASTER, Pa. – The Franklin & Marshall women's tennis team had four players recognized on the All-Centennial Conference (CC) team, as announced by the conference office Thursday afternoon.
Jenna Harrison was named second team All-CC in singles for the second time in her career. The senior earned three singles' wins over Centennial Conference opponents this season, while competing in the No. 1 match. The duo of Harrison and
Mackenzie Sherman were tabbed all-conference honorable mention for doubles, finishing the year with a 6-9 record and earning three wins against CC schools.
Sahara Ahmad was selected as an all-conference honorable mention for singles following her rookie campaign. Ahmad went 9-12 overall with a 4-3 record against CC opponents, while competing in the No. 2 match.
Natalie Untermeyer was also named an All-CC honorable mention for singles, tallying an impressive 13-3 record and a 6-1 conference record this season. Additionally, the duo of Ahmad and Untermeyer were selected as All-Centennial honorable mention for doubles, completing a 12-3 record together this year.
Rebecca Bellick was selected to the CC All-Sportsmanship team for the first time in her career. Bellick tallied a 12-2 record in singles, while going a perfect 7-0 against CC opponents. The junior earned one doubles win this spring in the Diplomats' win over Connecticut College in March.
Franklin & Marshall concluded its season with a 12-6 overall record and 6-2 CC record, highlighted by making its first-ever appearance in the Centennial Conference Championship match.
