GILBERT, Ariz. – The Franklin & Marshall women's tennis team was recently honored for its excellence in the classroom as 10 members were named Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Division III Scholar-Athletes. Additionally, the women's tennis team received the ITA All-Academic Team Award for the 2024-25 academic year.
The 10 student-athletes that were named ITA Scholar-Athletes include
Sahara Ahmad,
Rebecca Bellick,
Isabel Benitez,
Sophia Carson,
Jocelyn Chow,
Presley Daggett,
Jenna Harrison,
Mackenzie Sherman,
Amelia Squires and
Natalie Untermeyer.
To be named an ITA Scholar-Athlete, a student-athlete must have a grade-point average of at least 3.5 during the past academic year. ITA All-Academic Team status is granted to programs that have a maintained a cumulative team grade-point average of 3.2 or above during the academic year.
