Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 ORLANDO, Fla. – The Franklin & Marshall women's tennis team (2-5) split its two non-conference matches on Tuesday. The Diplomats fell to No. 30 Denison (10-2), 7-0, before sweeping William Smith (3-2), 7-0.

In the win over William Smith, F&M cruised through the doubles matches to start the afternoon. Sahara Ahmad and Rebecca Bellick held off their opponents in the No. 2 match, 7(7)-6(3), to pick up their third win together this season. The duo of Sophia Rhazali and Natalie Untermeyer rallied past their opponents in the No. 1 match, 6-3, to earn their second win this year. Amelia Squires and Lorena Saavedra overpowered their opponents in the No. 3 match, 6-1, for their first victory together this season.

Bellick started the singles matches by earning her seventh win of the season as she downed her opponent, 6-3, 6-0, in the No. 3 match. Kakie Colclough and Untermeyer both notched their fourth wins of the year. Colclough won the No. 4 match, 6-3, 6-0, while Untermeyer earned a 6-4, 6-4 victory in the No. 1 match. Ahmad cruised past her opponent in the No. 2 match, 6-1, 6-2, for her third win of the spring. Saavedra and Cynthia Li both tallied their first victories of the season. Saavedra earned a 6-0, 6-1 win in the No. 5 match, while Li finished the day with a 6-0, 6-4 win in the No. 6 match.

Franklin & Marshall returns to Lancaster to host No. 21 Swarthmore on Sunday, March 29 at noon.
