LANCASTER, Pa. – For the third time this season, a member of the Franklin & Marshall men's tennis team has been recognized as the Centennial Conference Men's Tennis Athlete of the Week. Samuel Donnelly earned the weekly award for the first time in his career after leading the Diplomats to a 4-1 record on their spring break trip to Orlando, Florida.

Donnelly recorded a perfect 4-0 record in singles, while earning a 3-1 doubles' record last week. The junior found success with three wins in No. 3 singles and one victory in the No. 2 match. Donnelly was paired with Nate Arnold throughout the week with all three of their victories coming in the No. 2 doubles match.

Donnelly and F&M earned four 7-0 sweeps while in Florida, blanking Hobart, Colby-Sawyer, George Fox, and Saint John's. Following the big week, the Darien, Connecticut native now has a team-high nine singles' wins, while also registering four doubles' wins so far this season.

No. 37 Franklin & Marshall returns to Lancaster to host its home opener against No. 9 Swarthmore on Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
