LANCASTER, Pa. – For the first time in program history, the incoming recruiting class for the Franklin & Marshall men's tennis was ranked the No. 25 class in Division III, announced by TennisRecruiting.net on Monday.
Carlos Lana Crous, Stanislau Kunash, Daniil Lunev, Theo Oeltermann, and James Parnwell make up the incoming class set to join the Diplomats during the 2026-27 season.
To compile the rankings, TennisRecruiting.net enlisted the help of a number of NCAA Division III enthusiasts, coaches, and insiders to aid in the rankings. As with all of the lists posted by TennisRecruiting.net, these rankings do not consider incoming transfer students or players who were on college rosters in 2025-26.
All five recruits are international students, with Carlos Lana Crous and Daniil Lunev coming to F&M from Spain. Stanislau Kunash is from Belarus, Theo Oeltermann from Germany, and James Parnwell from Berkshire, England. Lunev and Parnwell both hold Universal Tennis Ratings (UTR) above 10, with marks of 10.63 and 10.15, respectively. Kunash comes in with a 9.85 UTR, while Lana Crous closely follows with a 9.78 UTR.
This class joins the Diplomats after F&M went 12-7 overall and 5-2 in Centennial Conference (CC) play, securing a spot in the CC Tournament during the 2026 season. In his first year as head coach,
Bruce Myers helped F&M rise to as high as No. 33 in the ITA National Rankings. Myers has now assembled a recruiting class that is positioned to build on the continued success of the men's tennis program.
