LANCASTER, Pa. – The incoming recruiting class for the Franklin & Marshall women's tennis team is receiving votes in the Tennis Recruiting Network's (TRN) Division III Top-25 rankings, announced by TennisRecruiting.net.
Set to join the Diplomats during the 2026-27 season, the incoming recruits are Ananya Parekh, Emiliia Husieva, Ioanna Kyriakidou, and Zitong Yang.
To compile the rankings, TennisRecruiting.net enlisted the help of a number of NCAA Division III enthusiasts, coaches, and insiders to aid in the rankings. As with all of the lists posted by TennisRecruiting.net, these rankings do not consider incoming transfer students or players who were on college rosters in 2025-26.
Three of the program's four recruits hail from outside the United States, while Ananya Parekh is the only recruit coming to the program from Maryland. Emiliia Husieva is from Ukraine, Ioanna Kyriakidou from Cyprus, and Zitong Yang from China. Yang leads the incoming class with her Universal Tennis Rating (UTR) coming in at seven. Kyriakidou and Parekh closely follow with UTR's of six. Â
This class joins the Diplomats after Franklin & Marshall collected a 9-9 overall record and 6-2 record in Centennial Conference (CC) play, securing a spot in the CC Tournament during the 2026 campaign. In his first year as head coach,
Bruce Myers helped the Diplomats climb to as high as No. 41 in the ITA National Rankings and looks to continue climbing in the seasons to come.
