ALLENTOWN, PA - Muhlenberg College won four of the singles matches and #1 doubles to edge Franklin & Marshall College 5-4 in Centennial Conference women's tennis action.

The loss drops F&M to 8-2 on the season, 4-1 in Centennial Conference play, while Muhlenberg improves to 6-3, 3-1 in Centennial Conference competition as the victory marks the Mules fifth straight over the Diplomats.

Franklin & Marshall captured the #2 and #3 doubles matches, but the Mules took the #1, #2, #4 and #6 singles matches while falling at #3 and #5 for the narrow victory.

For Franklin & Marshall, Barbara Bee (So., Millersville, PA/Penn Manor) defeated Emily Oster 6-3, 6-1 at #3 and Lizzy Denenberg (Jr., Wilmington, DE/Sanford School) handled Stacy Lipschutz 6-1, 6-2 at #5.

Franklin & Marshall (8-2, 4-1 Centennial Conference) will continue the season on April 14 at Gettysburg College. Match time is set for 4:00 p.m.
