The Franklin & Marshall women's tennis team won its third Centennial Conference match in as many played with a 7-2 defeat of Gettysburg Tuesday afternoon. It was the Diplomats fifth win in as many matches.
F&M(6-2, 3-0 CC) took five of the six singles matches, and two of the three in doubles play to defeat the Bullets (1-3, 1-3 CC).
Katie Gaskins (Richmond, VA / Godwin Mills), Danielle Barish (Brooklandville, MD / SPSG), and Jenna Ishkanian (Wyckoff, NJ / Ramapo) each won their fifth consecutive match, while Barbara Bee (Millersville, PA / Penn Manor) and won her fourth-straight for the Diplomats. Gaskins is now a team-best, 9-3 on the year having taken eight of her last ten outings. Barish moved to 8-3 on the season, and Ishkanian is 5-1.
F&M returns to the court on Friday for its first home match of the season against. They'll host traditional Centennial powerhouse, Washington College.
