ALLENTOWN, Pa. - The Muhlenberg women's tennis team, ranked No.
9 in the region, swept the doubles matches before winning four out
of six singles matches to defeat Franklin & Marshall 7-2 in
Centennial Conference (CC) action on Wednesday.
Jenn Powell, Carly Rotfeld and Caitie Druker were double winners
for the Mules, while Kelsey Tylus and Cecily
Koss earned singles victories for the Diplomats (4-7, 3-5 CC).
Koss, who is riding a seven-match winning streak, picked up her
first win playing at the No. 4 spot with a 6-3, 6-4 victory over
Sara Sutker. Tylus defeated Danielle Winston 6-2, 6-0 at No.5.
F&M returns to action on Saturday against Swarthmore. Match
time is 2 p.m.
