LANCASTER, Pa. - For the second straight match, Cecily
Koss and Kelsey Tylus each
earned a singles win but it was not enough to overcome 8th-ranked
Swarthmore in Centennial Conference (CC) women's tennis action on
Saturday.
Tylus blanked Marissa Lee in straight sets (6-0, 6-0) at No. 5
singles, while Koss made it eight straight wins with a 6-2, 6-2
victory at the No. 4 spot for the Diplomats (4-8, 3-6 CC).
The Garnet swept the doubles with close scores of 8-6, 8-5 and
8-1, while winning four out of the six singles matches for their
ninth conference victory.
F&M returns to action tomorrow in the season finale against
Washington. Match time is 10 a.m.
