BALTIMORE, Md. – Johns Hopkins picked up its
35th Centennial Conference (CC) victory with a 9-0
defeat over Franklin & Marshall in women's tennis. The
Blue Jays did not drop a set and held the Diplomats scoreless in
six games. F&M fell to 5-7 (1-5 CC) while Hopkins
improved to 7-7 (5-0 CC).
Dana Russo gave Ellen Berlinghof the closest match of the day.
Russo lost 6-3, 6-2 in the number two spot. No other Diplomat won
more than three games in their respective sets.
Franklin & Marshall returns to the court on Tuesday when
the Diplomats host Bryn Mawr.
