LANCASTER, Pa. - Franklin & Marshall rolled to a 9-0 triumph over Bryn Mawr on Friday in Centennial Conference (CC) women's tennis action. The Diplomats wrap up their season at 8-8 overall and 5-5 in CC play, while the Owls conclude the year at 5-15, 0-10 CC.

The Diplomats' eight team wins mark the most victories for the program since 2006-07, while the five wins in conference play are also the most since the 2006-07 campaign.

F&M handily swept the doubles spots with Anya Sahaydachny and Megan FitzMaurice teaming up for an 8-0 win at No. 1, Julia Fiala and Emily Gruenberg tallying an 8-2 triumph at No. 3, and Dana Sleeper and Meredith Lackey earning an 8-4 win at No. 2.

In singles, the Diplomats captured wins at five of the six positions in straight sets. FitzMaurice and Gruenberg dropped just two games en route to their victories, at No. 2 and No. 4, respectively. FitzMaurice downed Jenny Vogel 6-1, 6-1, while Gruenberg defeated Kendall Baller by a 6-2, 6-0 count. Gruenberg's victory was her 12th of the year, tying her for the team lead with Fiala.

Fiala also topped her opponent with ease at No. 3, downing Melina Koukoutchos 6-2, 6-1, while Marissa Rohner cruised past Tirsa Delate at No. 6, 6-1, 6-2. Sahaydachny won at No. 1 over Vivient Chen 6-1, 6-3, and Naomi Smith completed the F&M sweep with a 6-4, 3-6, 1-0 (11-9) win over Catherine Austin at No. 5.

The Diplomats say goodbye to a pair of seniors, Fiala and Lackey, who were strong contributors in the lineup this season. Fiala managed a 12-6 singles mark, primarily at No. 3, and also notched a 12-5 doubles record. Lackey played mostly at No. 6 singles, going 6-5, and posted a 9-8 doubles mark at No. 2.
