Diplomats Stay Perfect in CC Play

WESTMINSTER, Md. - With a 7-2 victory over Centennial Conference (CC) opponent McDaniel, the Franklin & Marshall men's tennis team stayed perfect in conference action as the Diplomats improved to 7-3, 4-0 CC while the Green Terror fell to 4-5, 0-4 CC.

William MacArthur won at the No. 1 singles position 6-1, 6-2, while Doug Kaplan was also victorious at No. 2 with a 3-6, 6-3, 1-0 (10-4) score. At the No. 3 spot, Joshua Kane defeated Satchel McCarthy 6-3, 6-0 and F&M's Benjamin Stern blanked Philip Jorgensen 6-0, 6-0. At No. 5, freshman Stefan Radevic battled Matthew Langsdale and won 6-1, 3-6, 1-0 (10-5).

In doubles action, MacArthur and Nolan Bacchieri teamed up for an 8-5 win, while Kane and Parint Lertdumrikam defeated Jorgensen and Daniel Xinis 8-3 at No. 3 doubles.

F&M returns to action tomorrow when the Diplomats head to The College of New Jersey for a 1:00 p.m. match.
