ORLANDO, Fla. – Franklin & Marshall's women's tennis team fought hard in a narrow 6-3 loss against Connecticut College on Tuesday in Orlando, Fla. The spring break defeat dropped the Diplomats to 1-5 on the season while the Camels improved to 2-1.

By the Numbers 

An early 4-1 hole after doubles competition and a pair of singles matchups proved too much for the Diplomats to surmount. F&M won both singles matches that went to the super tiebreaker with Emily Gruenberg (No. 4) and Gavriel Rubenstein (No. 5) earning the victories. 

Gavriel Rubenstein and Allysan Breece also needed the tiebreaker to pull out a win, teaming up at No. 3 doubles for a 9-8 (7-4) victory.
