LANCASTER, Pa. – Franklin & Marshall continued its late-season surge with an 8-1 win over Bryn Mawr on Friday afternoon in Centennial Conference (CC) women's tennis competition.
The victory was the third straight for the Diplomats and improved their record to 5-9, 4-2 CC while the Owls fell to 4-11, 0-5 CC.
By the Numbers
F&M rolled through doubles action, outscoring Bryn Mawr by a 24-10 margin. Gavriel Rubenstein dominated at No. 5 singles with a 6-0, 6-0 shutout as the Diplomats took five of the six matchups.
Over the span of the last three matches, F&M has bested its opponents by a 26-1 margin that also included a 9-0 shutout of Haverford (April 9) and a 9-0 blanking of McDaniel (April 13).
