ALLENTOWN, Pa. – The Franklin & Marshall women's tennis team got back in the win column with a sweep of Centnenial Conference foe Muhlenberg on Tuesday afternoon. The Diplomats had strong showings up and down the lineup as they began a stretch of eight consecutive Centennial Conference matches to close the regular season.

In doubles, F&M surrendered just four games in total. At No. 1 and No. 3 doubles, the respective pairings of Cassidy Landau/Mackenzie Sherman and Sammi Perry/Presley Daggett were both 8-1 winnners. The middle pairing of Rebecca Bellick and Amelia Squires conceded just two games put the Diplomats up 3-0 heading into singles play.

All six singles matches went in straight sets to the Diplomats, including seven of the 12 sets in which the F&M players did not drop a game. That performance saw both Cassidy Landau (No. 1) and Sammi Perry (No. 4) win their respective matches by 6-0, 6-0 scores. Mackenzie Sherman (No. 2) and Rebecca Bellick (No. 3) each closed out their matches with 6-0 second sets, while Skye Victor started her match with a 6-0 blanking of her opponent. Jocelyn Chow picked up her first collegiate win to close the match with a 6-4, 6-2 victory.

Women's tennis will return to action this Saturday at Bryn Mawr. First serves in that Centennial Conference match are slated for 11 a.m.
