Franklin & Marshall College

Bassett was a varsity left end for the football team from 1920until 1923.  During his playing career Bassett was part ofmany important games and plays, including a 1922 last minute upsetagainst F&M’s traditional rival Gettysburg.  Hisaccomplishments as an athlete at F&M contributed greatly toschool’s football and athletic programs.
