Stan Mousetis was considered a standout technical wrestler. Hecompiled a duel meet record of 25-1-0--a career that included 14pins and 22 consecutive wins. He won the 128-pound EasternIntercollegiate Wrestling Association title in 1948 and placedthird in his senior year. On three occasions, he won MiddleAtlantic AAU championships. He also participated in cross countryand track at F&M. He earned his bachelor's degree as a historymajor. Wrestling has continued to be a part of his life. He is oneof the most successful wrestling coaches in Pennsylvania, havingled Plum High School in the Pittsburgh area to around 250 duel meetwins. He has coached several conference, sectional, and regionalchampions, and has been named "Coach of the Year" in WashingtonCounty. Stan, and his wife, Alice, shared a proud day in May 1980,when their son, John, graduated from F&M.
