The 1968 graduate won the 152 pound weight class at the 1968EIWA Championships, a year after he placed third at that weight atthe 1967 Championships. His gold medal is one of just eight EIWAChampionships earned by F&M wrestlers. In addition to the EIWAgold, Clair walked off with the Charlie Mayser Award in 1968.
