17 years after graduation, the Diplomats' ace still owns theschool record for strikeouts, seating 220 batters. He alsomaintains the F&M record for strikeouts per 9 innings, fanning10.53 batters per complete outing. In his career, Marshall compileda 13-10 overall record with four saves and a 4.45 ERA. At the timeof his induction he will remain second in career starts (29), fifthin compete games (10), sixth in innings pitched (186 2/3).

Marshall led the Diplomats in strikeouts all four years, and twiceled the team in innings pitched. In three of his four seasons helimited opponents to a batting average of .205 or less. As asophomore, he ranked seventh in NCAA Division III in strikeouts perseven-inning game with an 11.9 average. He finished his seniorcampaign fourth overall in NCAA Division III statistics forstrikeouts. He averaged 11.6 K's per nine innings that season.

As a junior, he no-hit Moravian (W, 5-2) and suffered just oneconference loss in a 4-2 season.  In addition, he led the teamwith 52.2 innings pitched while compiling a 4.27 ERA and holdingopposing batters to a .214 average. That year, Marshall led theteam to its first post-season berth since 1980 with a bid to theECAC Championships. Marshall is inextricably linked to F&Mbaseball lore. In the first game ever played at Caplan Field, hestruck out four consecutive batters to record a save as F&Mknocked off nationally ranked Elizabethtown. His accomplishmentswere not limited to the field. Marshall was a three-time MiddleAtlantic Conference Academic All-Star. Marshall's baseball careerdid not end in Lancaster. He signed a free agent contract with theSan Diego Padres after graduation, and pitched for the club'ssingle A team in Spokane, Washington.
