A prime field hockey goalkeeper and lacrosse attacker, MariaGaydos made her mark at both ends of the field while playing atFranklin & Marshall. A four-year varsity starter in bothsports, Gaydos received team and conference honors throughout hercareer. In field hockey, she boasted a .843 save percentage duringher freshman campaign. As a sophomore, she bumped that number to.941, working 10 shutouts.

The effort landed her on the All-Middle Atlantic Conference(MAC) first team for the first of three times in her career. Thefollowing fall, the co-captain received All-Region recognition andjumped to the region's first team as a senior. That same season,she was named Most Valuable Player and earned a spot on the All-MACAll-Star team. Gaydos was equally, if not more successful atlacrosse, earning All-MAC first team honors in each of her fourseasons.

She was a three-time team MVP and twp-time All-American. Hersophomore year, she registered 50 goals and 43 assists for 93points, all of which were season highs that led to her graduationwith the records for career goals (168), assists (88) and careerpoints (256).
