A three year varsity letterwinner on both football and lacrosse,Rogers was named the college's Outstanding Senior Athlete in 1989,the most prestigious award granted by the Franklin & MarshallAthletic Department. In football, Rogers was the linchpin to animposing Diplomat defense that led the team to the 1987 and 1988Centennial Conference titles. An All-Centennial defensive back,Rogers was named to the first team in 1987 and honorable mention in1988.

During the 1987 season, he set an F&M record for mostinterceptions in a season with 12, eleven of which came in nineregular season games, with one in the Diplomats post-season ECACSouth playoff loss. In addition, he set a Centennial Conferencerecord for most interceptions in s season with 10 in six gamesduring the fall of 1987. He currently ranks third on F&M'scareer list for interceptions with 15. An outstanding lacrosseplayer, Rogers earned three varsity letters from 1987-89 and wasnamed to the MAC All-Conference team in 1988 and 1989 atdefense.

A two-time All-American, Rogers was named Honorable Mention in1988 and to third team in 1989. The team captain his senior year,Rogers led the Diplomats to consecutive MAC titles in 1987 and1988. In addition, he was a member of the 1987 team, which finished#8 nationally and the 1988 squad that ranked #4 and was an NCAAsemifinalist. He finished his career with five goals and twoassists
